Unanet 19.1 Update Preview

Unanet is excited to give you a preview of some upcoming changes that are coming to your software in our 19.1 update! This update will be available to our On Premise customers during the week of September 30, 2019, and will be pushed out to Cloud customers Saturday, October 19, 2019. An email notification will be sent to customers when the download is available for On Premise licenses. Additionally, we wanted to let you all know that we are changing our software update nomenclature by featuring the year as the start of the update name! For example, this update will be 19.1 indicating this is the first update in 2019 (since we started this naming structure).

The 19.1 update will include a number of major new capabilities, and many customer-driven improvements including the following: 

1. Timesheet Enhancements – All Licenses (this has already been rolled out to Cloud customers)

2. Approvals Reports: PR, PO and VI Status Report – Project Tracking Financials and Above

3. Create Vendor Invoice from PO Matched Transactions – Project Tracking Financials and Above

4. Purchasing Alerts – Project Tracking Financials and Above

5. PO Import/Export – Project Tracking Financials and Above

6. Vendor Invoice Export – Project Tracking Financials and Above

7. Enhanced PO Assignments with the Ability to Import/Export Assignments – Project Tracking Financials and Above (this has already been rolled out to Cloud customers)

8. Bank Account Reconciliation Attachments – Project Tracking Financials and Above

9. Additional Improvements and Bug Fixes

Question:

How can I clean up my cluttered dashboards?

Answer:

Customize the Unanet dashboards to provide quick-access to priority lists and reports using the Config link at the top of the dashboard. For each dashboard, configure the order of the items displayed in the center of the screen, the Charts displayed on that dashboard, and add Quicklinks to Personal and Shared reports and Saved Lists. Move to the left any reports/lists that are no longer desired. For the best results, ask your System Administrator to setup Shared reports that all users with appropriate roles and access can use to have consistent and standardized reporting.

You can access this functionality by clicking on Dashboards-Config or Preferences-Dashboard as in the screenshots below.
 

Navigate: Organizations > Dashboard > Edit Settings Icon.

Latest Unanet Release & Updated Per Diem Files

The Latest Unanet Software Build is: 11.0.30. Date Released: 2019-9-20.

As a service to our customers, Unanet periodically converts the All History Data files from the DoD source into the Unanet Per Diem Import Format. You can convert the files yourself from your data source of choice, if you prefer. The most recent Unanet Support Site Per Diem file updated was:
